2001-12-07 - 7:08 p.m.

I can say without a doubt that I spent my first day of vacation being a total sloth. I didn't even get out of my jammies until the late afternoon. Know what? It was wonderful. It felt so good to sleep in, read a book for the sheer pleasure of it, and get to drink my coffee leisurely! I could totally get used to the lazy life.

Of course, real life is waiting to knock me upside the head. I have a busy weekend ahead of me, including a visit from Mom and Dad. And you know what that means - major housecleaning!

Well, I am back to being a sloth. My flannel jammies are totally calling my name.
