Happy Thanksgiving. My best wishes to you and your families as the busy holiday season officially begins.

I love this time of year. It is great to have time that is especially set aside for friends, family, and loved ones. I also love that there is a certain amount of self-reflection built into this time of year. There is so much that I am thankful for this year.

My Parents they inspire me with their amazing relationship. They awe me with their generosity and acceptance. Truly, I am the luckiest girl to have been blessed with a Mom and Pop like mine.

My Family even though I dont spend as much time with my Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins as I should, I wouldnt trade my crazy family for anything.

My Friends especially Lucy. Every day I wake up knowing that I am lucky to have a friend like her. No one knows me like she does it has been a great 22 years and I cant wait to share the next 22 with her.

Good Health - for me and the people I love.

Forgiveness for myself and others.

Hope - it really does spring eternal.

Resiliency it has been a difficult year and I am awed and inspired by the phenomenal grace people around me mustered to handle troubled times.

School even though I am creeping up on completing my masters degree, I still feel giddy that I have the luxury of being a student.

Passion I am so thankful that I am discovering new things to be passionate about. All facets of my life are enriched as I discover new things. I am thankful more than anything for the intellectual passion that has been ignited for me as I delve deeper into my studies.

Travel I was deeply touched by my trip to Turkey. I am thankful that I was able to experience a truly foreign culture. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people and see so many new and beautiful things and places. It is helpful to be reminded that people around the world arent as different as they are often portrayed to be.

Release as hard as it was to say goodbye, I am thankful that my Grandmother has been released from her pain.

Cor - I love Cor. We have faced and are still facing incredible challenges. I feel great hope though. The future is nearly here, and I cant imagine my future without him in it. His love and support mean the world to me.

Until Next Time
